Transkripsjon

Fra H. J. Meyer Til

BERGEN AGENT A/S Herr Kùnstm. Nicolai Astrup

SKIBSMÆGLERE Jölster.

BERGEN den 5/7 1921

Tak for sidst i Bergen!

pent saadant?

Jeg vedlægger et avertisse-

ment i T. T. som muligens

tör ha interesse for Dem.

Neumann tror jeg vilde

svært gjerne ha noget "tryk"

eller tegninger hos Dem

istedenfor kontant betaling

for den cement De fik.

Jeg tror ogsaa De trygt kan

henvende Dem til ham om

saadan byttehandel, naar

De trænger flere varer fra

ham. –

Jeg haaber alt staar

vel til og haaber at höre

snart fra Dem.

Med de bedste hil-

sener til Dem og familie.

Deres forbundne

H. J. Meyer.

From H. J. Meyer TO

BERGEN AGENT A/S The Painter Nicolai Astrup

SHIPPING AGENT Jölster.

BERGEN 5/7 1921

It was great to see you in Bergen! I had hoped

to hear from You soon and receive the paintings,

in particular the one with the barn, from above. I desper-

ately wish to have it myself. I would then throw out

the mess You remember I had by

Wentzel. How are things going with the ink drawings,

can I expect any of them soon? – I

think I might also like to have a coloured

print of “Midsummer Eve bonfire” like the

one Wiese Hansen got a few years ago.

Would You make me a really

nice one of those?

I enclose an advertise-

ment in T. T. which might

possibly be of interest to You.

Neumann I believe would

very much like to have some “prints”

or drawings by You

instead of cash payment

for the cement You received.

I also believe You can safely

bring up the subject about

such an exchange, when

You need additional materials from

him. –

I hope all is

well and hope to hear

from You soon.

With best wish-

es to You and Your family.

Your obliged

H. J. Meyer.
