XVII Winter on the mountain (winter life in the wilds)

Winter landscape from "Rabben" [mountain]: "Fossakraaen" [waterfall].

Could maybe be used as the basis for a

summer landscape. Paint it preferably 2 times,

first just draw the whole thing, shade the shapes and paint

it then over at home in white and black so that the can-

vas is covered. This motif needs lots of snow.

The living room, the window with Hydrangea, myrtle and

calla (?) and Hanna sitting in front of the window.

The same motif but just the window with

studies of the plants like a still life. The windowsill

and the garden fence outside. The whole thing in "the

new" view a little of Wagner’s "Song to the Evening Star".

something infinitely beautiful <strange> about the Hydrangea’s leaves

that seem so thin. The whole mood like a

thin string you try in vain to grasp. ~~75x70~~

IXX Fairytale tree. fantasy IXX

A tree in a marsh, some houses further

away on the flat field grey-opaque-greenish in the evening

spring night-like greyish, one or other yellow flower in

the grass. The tree matt-green and light blue and

grey with a little yellow blue-green and ultramarine yellow

XX a Krampen [farm] XX

In connection with the foregoing (that is to say,

somewhat the same colours) I saw, next to

Krampen below Sunde, a grey cabin, white mouldings

above a blue window and dark-green spring grass and {…} trees

XX b Krampen in the autumn with cold-green and {...} watery red cabbage
