even people I have not seen in 24 years; and whom

I only now remember that I met the first time I came

to Kristiania – I have not met so many painters however – got

to see Xan Krohn and his wife and drove with them in their motorcar and

looked at their pictures – they have nearly driven all around

the world in their motorcar – it is the cheapest way to travel

he said. – Then we were at an art auction one day

where I won the bid for a picture from Rotenbùrg by Prytz

for the bargain price of kr. 25 – five and twenty kroner.

We have been out to see Hans Henrik’s parents, who have

a splendid and interesting villa in Ljan (Sunday) we ate

a large amount of apples pears and plums from their garden –

to You and to Petra – hope she does not

cause You too much trouble! Live well

then and best wishes

and Kari Astrup

P.S. I enclose a letter from the ministry – it should

have been sent sooner – cannot understand how the bank could refuse to exchange –

I have full disposition of this money. – would you Per show this to the bank

and inform them of the situation – and don’t lose the paper!!!!!
