Landscape with Houses

There are no known descriptions or photographs of this painting, but the title indicates that it is a landscape painting with houses in it.

The painting was exhibited at the commercial exhibition  «Nikolai Astrup og Christian Krohg. Malerier, grafikk, tegninger, utkast» (“Nikolai Astrup and Christian Krohg. Paintings, prints, drawings, drafts”) at Galleri KB (Kaare Berntsen) in the spring of 1970. According to the catalogue, this oil on board painting is dated before 1905 and has the dimensions 23 x 38.2 cm. The history of the work before and afterwards is unknown.
